Out on a Limb HUSH Stand - Since I primarily hunt public land, I was looking for a lightweight stand that was extremely packable. The Hush has exceeded my expectations. While the shelf isn't huge for storing something, I love having my seat up and out of the way for walking through brush and climbing over things. Overall the leveling mechanism is much quieter and easier to fine tune than my previous stands. There is no need to toe hook this stand as it grabs the tree hard just by pushing down on the seat and pulling the strap tight. I am 6'1", and the size is just right. The taller seat post helps the stand to feel bigger. I have the new cushion and would highly recommend it for all day sits, but the seat is much more comfortable than it looks. The seat is still a bit on the small side, and is especially noticeable on forward leaning trees. That being said, I have done several 4-8 hour sits with no cushion. I was blessed to take a nice public land buck out of the stand. I placed it in a tiny gnarly tree and performed great. For the money this is definitely one of the top mobile stands on the market.
Dryad Killdeer Harness - This has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear, and it really shines in cold weather. Not having shoulder straps pulling down and constricting is a huge bonus. The Killdeer is extremely high quality, and is exactly what I was looking for in a minimalist setup. I have a zip up Bur pouch on each hip; one for my lineman's belt and tree stand cam strap and one for my tether and headlamp. The Killdeer is plenty comfortable with the smaller G-hook leg straps. There is also an option to turn the Killdeer into a full saddle setup by purchasing an addon Mini Drey, though I have no intention of using it as a full saddle. The harness by itself can be used as a saddle for leaning when the situation calls for it, but it is not comfortable in the saddle sitting position without the Mini Drey. One thing to note is that the leg straps will constantly slide down if you do not use the Leg Enforcer straps or paracord loops to hold them in place on the backside of the harness. I absolutely love my Killdeer Harness because it fits my minimalist approach perfectly and is cheaper than buying a minimalist saddle. The lineman's loops molle webbing also make it more functional for mobile hunting than a rock climbing harness.
Genesis 3D Printing Strap Stager - I am not a person who likes to add extra gear to my setup unless it gives me an advantage. I wasn't convinced this product would help me, but after watching reviews I decided to try it. After 4 days of hang and hunts in real hunting scenarios, I highly recommend this product. It adds almost no weight or bulk, and it makes hanging the stand so much safer and easier. It also made me more efficient and cut down my total time to get setup. I don't see a down side to this product.
